CarbonX Chassis Skin

Add style to your already cool carbon fiber chassis.  Turn heads at the track during tech and when you are on the podium.

NOTE: The skin is not covered in clear Mylar and the image is subject to scratches and scrapes.

Includes:

• One (1) DIY 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" chassis skin

• Skin is .004" [0.11mm] thick

• Full color, high resolution digital printing

• Glossy Finish

• Water-resistant, Tear-resistant

• Can be used on CarbonX chassis (wing car not so much)

To apply the skin:

• Remove chassis guide flag & rear tires
• Thoroughly clean the bottom of the chassis with Rubbing alcohol or acetone and a micro fiber cloth.  Removing all dirt/oil/left over residue
• Start from top by aligning skin to chassis
• Slowly apply working your way down
• Make sure you secure the skin to the chassis by applying pressure from the bottom to the top trying to remove any air pockets or bubbles.  
• Small bubbles can be opened with the tip of the X-Acto knife to remove trapped air.
• Using X-Acto knife trim the openings and chassis perimeter.  Be careful not to trim the carbon fiber chassis.  Carbon fiber will dull the blade easily so you may need more than one blade.
• Finish the edges with 600 grit sandpaper.  Sand from the image side down being carful not to scratch the printed finish.

Required Tools (not included):

• X-Acto knife with new blades to trim edges

• Rubbing Alochol or Acetone

• Micro fiber cloth
