Precision engineered with ASTM A-681 / SAE J437 Drill Rod A2 Tool Steel this rear axle is tough!  Concentricity of the material provides true running for precision balance at high rotational speeds.  The axle is 2-1/4” wide.  Weight: 1.8 g
 

There is a 7/8” center section milled for gear set screw seating.  
 

Hardened rear axles reduce set screw damage causing wheels and gears to lock on the axle shaft.
