CarbonX Chassis Skin

 

Add style to your already cool carbon fiber chassis.  This will turn heads at the track during tech and when you are on he podium.


Includes:

  • One (1) DIY 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" chassis skin

  • Can be used on CarbonX chassis (wing car not so much)

 

To apply the skin:

  • Remove chassis guide flag & rear tires
  • Thoroughly clean the bottom of the chassis with Rubbing alcohol and a micro fiber cloth.  Removing all dirt/oil/left over residue
  • Start from top by aligning skin to chassis
  • Slowly apply working your way down
  • Make sure you secure the skin to the chassis by applying pressure from the bottom to the top trying to remove any air pockets or bubbles.
  • Using X-Acto knife trim the openings and chassis perimeter.  Be careful not to trim the carbon fiber chassis

 

Required Tools (not included):

  • X-Acto knife with a new blade to trim edges

  • Rubbing Alochol

  • Micro fiber cloth
